Anyone in the Shepton area experiencing issues with their electricity, please turn off any sensitive equipment (including boilers at the fused spur) as the fluctuating power could cause damage to motors, PCB's etc. The fault is expected to be fixed later this evening. If your boiler has suddenly gone wrong this evening, this is probably the reason.

If you've not turned your heating on yet, then we recommend you turn it on soon for 20 mins or so, just to check that everything is working as it should. It's better to know if there's a problem now before you really need it.

PLEASE make sure you take all your meter readings and submit them to your energy provider by MIDNIGHT tonight!
This ensures you lock in the current tariff and get charged correctly. Many utility companies have been called out for over charging and as the price of energy is going up stratospherically from midnight, I want to ensure you all get treated fairly.
