🔨✨ A few months ago, Ben had the pleasure of transforming this understairs space into a practical and stylish storage solution! Designed in collaboration with the customer, this was then painted by the customer.

• Door Transformation •

Full set of upstairs internal doors replaced, happy to have complete this job on behalf of L Tweddle Carpentry 🔨

Four old 6-panel doors replaced with holldenby oak doors (supplied by Howdens) and finished with new ironmongery.

• Bespoke Alcove Storage •

This was a returning visit to a customer I previously made and fitted an alcove unit for (as pictured).

They wanted the same style to run straight through, with the addition of two shelves adding above this unit.

The customer was to be painting this themselves, and we can’t wait to see the finished look! 🎨

• Utility Room Transformation •

Today’s task was to create a bespoke utility closet, designed to house a washer and dryer, along with other cleaning equipment.

With the close proximity to water and potential condensation, we chose moisture-resistant MDF to ensure the longevity and durability of this piece.

The customer will be painting this up themselves, and we look forward to seeing the final result! ✔️

• Cupboard Transformation •

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to fit a bespoke-made door to a cupboard that houses the gas and electricity meters. The previous solution was a loft hatch, but the customer has upgraded to a sleek and functional push-to-open door.

Additionally, I added some brand new skirting and architrave to freshen up the space, as the customer recently redecorated and wanted a new look.

It’s always a pleasure to bring functionality and aesthetics together in a project. Can’t wait to see the final results when the customer paints the door!

• Laminate Flooring •

This week we transformed this property with a flooring upgrade through the entrance hall and living room. Goodbye, old carpet, and hello new laminate flooring!

• Bespoke Alcove Storage •

This customer contacted me after seeing an alcove unit I’d done at their friends house, and they wanted similar.

After a chat with the customer they decided on 3 shaker style doors, with one shelf and cut outs for cables and sockets. The customer is going to paint this themselves! 🎨

Overall, both the customer and I were really happy with the result on this one!
