The old kitchen was tired and dated, so we gave the whole space a fresh new look - with a brand new kitchen and matching utility room to tie everything together.

And that brings us to the final post of our 4th birthday week 🎉

We couldn’t finish without sharing a little bit more about the man behind Oakfield Kitchens - Ben.

From his biggest kitchen pet peeve (American fridge freezers… apparently!) to his favourite part of the design process, and what he gets up to outside of work.

Four years of Oakfield Kitchens has been a pretty amazing journey, and there’s plenty more to come.

What started out in joinery and carpentry has grown and evolved over the last 4 years, with kitchens now making up a big part of what we do.

It’s been 4 years of hard work, plenty of projects, great customers and lots learnt along the way.

But before the new kitchen goes in, there’s a fair amount of preparation that needs to happen first.

This is the part you don’t see on the design plans- stripping everything back, making sure the space is ready, and getting the foundations right for what comes next.

It might not be the glamorous part of a kitchen project, but it’s all part of the process.
