We were asked by this customer to build a high quality large garage, with the aim to make it blend in with surrounding buildings,

We took down an existing out building, keeping as many bricks required for the new garage walls, we dug footings and put in a block and beam floor, built walls with insulation fitted, fitted a sloped roof, which didn’t block the views from the house, put in a screed floor, fitted a toilet and washroom in the corner of the garage, windows and tiling was handled by the customer and the roller garage door was fitted by a sub contractor of ours,

The outcome was this high quality garage which more resembles a show room, the framed out windows and tile floor create a stylish look to this garage, and a fantastic space to use however the customer wishes,

The customer left us a fantastic review for this job on our new Google page!

We started a job last week which we should have been building footings for at the end of the week just gone but unfortunately the job has been put on hold for a few weeks due to some very unforeseen circumstances,

The job has been a slow starter from the first day, we finished knocking the garage walls down and then started to break out the concrete floor, that turned out to be 8” reinforced so the hand breaker wouldn’t touch it, we turned to a pe**er on the machine and we broke that out, we then started to dig the footings and the ground conditions weren’t very good, we ended up being 2.2m down and it was still no good to build off, this put a stop to the digging.

We have had to reassess the situation and have looked at the options available to us and we have decided to go down the route of piling the footings, this isn’t a cheap option but it is definitely the best option for the job and will govern the customers peace of mind that their extension will be built off some solid foundations and last a lifetime,

We will be back on this job in around 4-6 weeks once the piles have been put in, ready to take the walls up and get the job moved on!

This is a Job we completed early this year and it looks fantastic! 😁

We were given the job of converting the double garage and adding a room in the roof, and also a small extension and a big knock through 🏡

It was a big job and one that was very enjoyable with plenty to think about and do! The job also involved a lot of steel beams, with one of them weighing 700kg 😨

The customer was in charge of the finishing touch which has completed this transformation of this property into a very stylish home!

Plenty of tea ☕️supplied by the customers aswell which always helps 😁
