Thanking you all for your support again this year. It’s been another busy year especially with two new arrivals in to the family. They’re too young yet to dig holes with me but that will soon come round. Christmas is a time for family and friends so I would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and very happy New Year. I’m out quoting today then tools away until January when I can work off the seasonal overeating!

This week’s job was laying a shed base on a slightly sloping garden. Creating a raised border is a great way to lose dug out soil and this one has a handy seat. Planted up in low maintenance shrubs ready for one very special gentleman and his carers to enjoy.

Thanking you all for your continued support this year. To my wonderful customers who continue to kindly recommend me to their friends and colleagues, for which I am very grateful. You have all kept me very busy in 2024 but I shall now be putting my tools away and hanging up my muddy boots until the New Year.

Not had the chance to post many photos lately but here is a recent new build garden makeover for lovely existing customers to enhance their lovely new home. Creation of a shed base, addition of arched top trellis, wraparound raised sleeper borders, beautiful Ray Blend Indian stone shaped patio with decorative cobble edge and second patio area under bespoke timber pergola. The whole creating a stunning garden by day and by night.

A break from the usual fence repairs this time of year to creating some shaped raised borders. Planted with a mixture of bare rooted edibles including blackberry, pear and apple together with a stunning range of shrubs in pink and purple tones, finished with barkmulch for easy maintenance. Can't wait to see it when everything has become established and the wildlife and birds will love it too. Also made a couple of timber troughs too to add some height and variation.

After a customer had removed decking from their property they asked me to lay beautiful Kandla Grey Indian Stone to include a recessed manhole and side path and to complete the job with lovely sleeper raised borders with sleeper edged step. A very contemporary look for a lovely family to enjoy.

When an existing customer moved to a new build property in Shrewsbury she could not wait to transform the garden. A few fence line issues and the need for a land drain hindered initial progress, but I am more than pleased with the results so far. Beautiful Raj Blend Indian Stone with cobble edge details and sleeper steps, raised border and vertical edge feature border. Ready for Phase 2 which will involve preparing and re-sowing the grass area. Hoping for a bit more sunshine so this lovely area can be enjoyed some more this year.

One of my favourite photos, taken a few years ago now, but reminding me of nicer days to come .. and no rain!

Just a huge thank you to all my lovely friends, neighbours, relatives and especially my customers for bearing with me over the last few months. Weather and family matters caused a bit of a back log which I'm pleased to say is now getting back on track.

I am currently booking into August and beyond, I hope the photos I post give you an idea of what I do but I'm always happy to discuss your ideas and do my best to turn them into reality.

Here's to looking forward to a beautiful summer ... but not too hot, Indian stone is my customer's favourite choice at the moment (Indian Stone is far nicer to sit on and eat ice cream than lay in the sun).
