Some early morning works helping Shrewsbury Town Council with some awkwardly positioned Hanging Baskets to get them in place for the Summer ahead, ably assisted by Paul from A B Metals. 👍👍
We a*o managed to stop by for a close up look at the Knife Angel. This truly is a mind-blowing statement. If you haven't been to see it up close, you really must try. (Even though Clive doesn't look so impressed with his new neighbour! 😅).

This year’s Shrewsbury's Summer High Street Installation display has had a stunning artistic transformation, with local artist Clare Scarlett creating a hand-sewn, multi-material installation inspired by the Shrewsbury Arts Trail 2026 theme ‘Impressions’.

Designed to move with the wind and catch the changing light throughout the day, the flags create shifting reflections and colour across the town centre ☀️

The new installation was brought to life with bespoke engineering support from Potters Electrical and backing from the Shrewsbury Big Town Plan Partnership.

Now on display throughout the summer.

Summer Sea*on '26 is upon us, and Thankfully the weather is currently in full agreement 🌞🌞.
We've been busy working with local Artists Clare & Rob Scarlett , and our local fabrication wizard Paul at AB Metals to fabricate and install a new set of Summer Displays along Shrewsbury High St on behalf of Original Shrewsbury / Shrewsbury BID .
Thank you to Metals4U for supplying the suitable materials to allow us to make lightweight and user friendly frames that can be reused year after year, and also reduce the wind resistance upon the fixing points . Let's all hope the sun shines for a long time, and enjoy your Shrewsbury Summer!

Two of the hottest days in The Shire for a long time. And its been about looking after our longest term client, Shrewsbury Town Council .
A heat related issue with circulation equipment on Sunday, and a completely separate, but equally important issue today with Chemical dosing and water quality. Both dealt with effectively ; restoring and maintaining the Quarry Splash Park for literally hundreds of happy, splashy visitors. 🌞🌞🏊‍♂️.

A lovely evening to carry out lighting replacements on The Quarry Bandstand for Shrewsbury Town Council . The Old fluorescent fittings have been in use for many a year and were past their best and failing , so out with the old, and in with some new LED replacements ahead of the upcoming Summer Sea*on of events. 🎺🎷🎼

Miles behind on posting projects 😬

Automatic Generator Supply swapped over at the back end of last year for a local farm.

The old generator was after many years of service deemed to be at the end of its serviceable life on this site.

New Auto Transfer Switch installed, 70mm H07 ran to the generator and some upgrading to the 95mm tails/earthing.

Late finish to make sure the site was back online for the next day 🫡

Another of these to install this month for one of our regular customers.
