⚡🌳 A Project We're Extremely Proud Of 🌳⚡

Over the last few months, the team at ESP Energy has been working on a fantastic project at Bodenham Arboretum, helping to future-proof this incredible 170-acre family-run business for generations to come.

The project included:

☀️ 162kW Solar PV Installation
🔋 96kWh Battery Storage System
⚡ Complete upgrade from multiple single-phase supplies across the 170 Acre site to a new 400A three-phase incoming supply

Whilst we've delivered larger projects, this one has been particularly special because of the sheer variety of work involved. All whilst keeping the Arboretum open to the public.

From electrical design and National Grid applications, to trenching across the estate, upgrading infrastructure, installing solar arrays, battery storage systems and new distribution equipment, almost every department within ESP Energy played a role in bringing this project to life.

Looking back at where we started and comparing it to where we've finished is a reminder of what can be achieved when a great team works together.

I couldn't be prouder of every member of the ESP Energy team. Our electrical engineers, solar installers, roofers, civil engineering teams, CAD designers, project coordinators and office staff all contributed to delivering a complex project to an exceptionally high standard.

Installation of 76kW of panels and Hybrid inverters powering this robotic dairy farm in the Shropshire Hills.

Future-proofed, allowing the owners to expand up to 108kWh of battery storage and add a backup gateway to continue powering the farm in the event of a power-cut and protect equipment against flickering power outages.

Another recent commercial installation completed by the ESP Energy team.

This 60kW battery-ready solar PV system has been installed at a marina in Shropshire and will provide renewable electricity to power their engineering docks, café and on-site accommodation.

As well as significantly reducing grid reliance, the system will also generate an additional income stream through exporting excess electricity back to the grid.

A great example of how solar can support businesses with both energy security and long-term cost savings.
