So, to the layman, this is a more modern render than that of traditional sand and cement, labelled as a Thin Coat Render System. The render used is a mixture of lime, cement, sand and polymers to make it strong, lightweight, breathable, flexible, and versatile in its adhesive capabilities.
A fibreglass mesh is also incorporated. This reinforces the render by holding it together when put under the stresses of building movements throughout the seasons.
