Very busy week with our commercial work. A few different sites dealt with but the Leeds council clearance of 30+ years of fly tipped waste was an awkward one. Skips had to be positioned a fair distance from where we had to dig and then an old gas pipe to avoid in a tight spot tested us. We then finished the week taking on the maintenance side of things in central skipton at craven court as part of a new contract.

Kdm tongue and groove panels installed in oakworth. Really good quality product matched with planed all round posts to give a very high end finish and another happy customer.

We took on this small section of garden for a returning customer to make it safe and stable. The retaining wall was crumbling away along with the steps and the path. Some fancy cobbling was required to deal with the twists and turns but a much more secure way to navigate the garden path.

Called out to an urgent job for one of our commercial clients. The conifer and vegetation was blocking access for roofing repairs. It’s not pretty work but needed to be done

Day out in the woods just outside of skipton. A larch had decided to partially go over due to root plate decay. With the heavy lean and the possibility of barber chairing we roped into the next tree and then sectioned everything down. The Land Rover and winch making light work of the job.

Hedge and stumps removed then a new hit and miss double sided fence installed in eldwick. Further work was due to go ahead but having done a nest check they will have to work till later in the year.

Another site ticked off our list.

Around 40 trees removed and 14 pruned at the hirst wood cemetery as part of on going restoration works. Each visit took careful planning to keep the public safe and to make sure no damage was done to any of the fragile graves.

Easter week can only mean school work for us. We headed back to Burnley for a returning customer to deadwood and crown lift several trees.

Next on the list was a large diseased beech tree in lothersdale which did have a tree preservation order on it but we did all the paperwork and obtained permission to fell and replace. A big thank you to Tks Ltd for helping out with their cherry picker, it made the whole job safe and efficient.

Busy times with our roadside ash felling work. New client this time in oxenhope required three ash removing, crown lifting works and street light clearance.
