BIG PROGRESS ON THIS ONE 🔨🏠

From a full new roof structure to now being completely felted, battened and ready for the next stage.

Jobs like this really show the amount of work that goes into a renovation before you ever get to see the finished result.

We’ll keep sharing the progress as this project comes together.

Anyone else find the stages behind a build just as satisfying as the finished transformation?

DAY ONE, THE STRIP OUT 🔨

A new kitchen renovation is officially underway! Day one was all about getting the old kitchen out and stripping everything back ready for the transformation to begin.

There’s something VERY satisfying about seeing it completely empty. Now the fun starts…

GOOD MORNING 😂🚲

Just sending Ben off to work this morning…

Van left on the drive because apparently he won’t be needing that anymore 😂 Safe travels, babe… only another 7 miles to site! 🚲🪚😂

Tradespeople, how are we feeling about the morning commute? 😂

When the client sends over an AI generated image and says, “This is the kitchen I want…” 🔨

Challenge accepted.

We carried out the full renovation from start to finish, including removal of the existing kitchen, plumbing, electrics, plastering and preparation, before fitting the new kitchen, completing the backsplash and laying the new Amtico herringbone flooring.

The result is pretty close to that original AI vision, but built properly, made to work in the real space and finished around our client's requirements.

AI might be able to design it… but someone still has to build it. 😉🔨

Another job taking shape for the team.

This timber entrance canopy frame is now complete, built from scratch to create a much smarter and more substantial entrance to this commercial property. Next up, finishing the roof to bring it all together.

What do you think of the transformation so far?

“this is what we’ve got” → “this is what we want” → “this is what we built.” 🔨

Our client came to us wanting to completely transform this wall and sent over an AI generated image showing exactly what they had in mind. So, we got to work.

A completely bespoke media wall, built to fit their existing TV and soundbar, with everything neatly incorporated for that clean, seamless finish.

Swipe through to see the before, the AI inspiration and what we actually built. 👀
We reckon we understood the assignment… what do you think?

It’s the little things that make living through a renovation that bit easier…

As a family run building company who have also lived through five renovations ourselves, we know how important it is to still feel like your home is YOUR home while the work is happening.

That’s why on every large or long term project we manage, a portable toilet is delivered from day one and stays on site until our works are complete.

No trades coming in and out to use your bathroom. No muddy boots through the house. Your facilities stay yours. It’s also serviced weekly, with fresh toilet roll and hand sanitiser supplied, keeping everything clean and ready for the trades on site.

It’s a small detail, but as clients ourselves, it was a must for us. Because a well managed project isn’t just about the finished result, it’s about looking after you and your home throughout the build.

Would this be something you’d appreciate if you were living through a renovation?

Welcome back to our ongoing project in Medway, where our client is undergoing a full knockdown and rebuild renovation… and now we’re onto the fun stuff. 🔨

Attention to detail is key, and our client has decided to really elevate the new spaces in their home with stunning bespoke media walls in every bedroom.

The inspiration is chic, classy and timeless, but we’re taking that inspiration and building each one completely around our client's specification.

Think extra large TVs, three sided glass electric fires and bespoke shelving made to measure for exactly how they want each space to look and function.

The first timber framework is now up and ready for plasterboard, and this is where getting every measurement and detail right really matters. What looks like timber now is going to look VERY different once it’s boarded, plastered and finished.

And remember… this is only the first bedroom, 4 more to go!.

What do you think of the inspiration, would you go for a media wall in your bedroom?
