This one definitely needed some attention!

Once we started stripping the existing roof back, we discovered 16 layers of felt that had been applied over the years. Underneath all of that, the existing ply had completely rotted, as you can see from the before photos.

So rather than adding yet another layer and hiding the problem, we stripped everything right back and rebuilt it properly.

The old rotten ply was removed, new exterior grade ply installed, followed by a new rubberised  membrane system, giving the roof a clean, durable and weatherproof finish.

The difference between the before and after is pretty satisfying!

It's amazing to see this local renovation coming to life! Over the past few weeks, the transformation has really started to gather pace, and we're excited to share the latest progress.

Works completed so far include:

✔️ New blockwork well underway
✔️ Structural steelwork installed

So the lads are now rocking fresh white tees for the hotter months. Cooler? Yes. Smarter? Definitely.

The only question is… how long will they stay white? 🤣

Any stain-removing tips are welcome because I don’t fancy my chances seeing these at the end of today’s shift!
