Some from today....I thought it was going to be an early finish but had a last minute boiler check this afternoon before an emergency for a burst pipe called in.
A couple of boiler services starting off in Strood then back to Sittingbourne, this was a returning customer.
I attended a property last week and the bath seal had completely worn away, I didnt have time on the day so returned today and got it resealed. Looks a lot better will be leak free.
A boiler service in Borden, another returning customer. I did a full service on this last year with new gaskets and electrodes and a full strip down and clean so only a standard service required this year.
Last job of the day also in Borden. The customer had returned from a 3 week holiday to find water damage to his skirting boards and walls. The hot supply had burst in the floor and the insurance company had been out to assess it. I was able to find where the pipes split between upstairs and downstairs and isolate the leak so the hot water can be left on. Customer happy with the service but needs to go back to the insurance to see what he is covered for as the downstairs tiled flooring may need to come up. This call came in as I was finishing up and I was able to attend within 20 minutes.
A busier day than expected which keeps me on my toes.
