How hot was today!

A few little jobs completed, a boiler service in Herne Bay, everything was fine on this appliance. Always good to get the boiler looked at before winter hits.

An awkward to get at isolation valve replaced in Sittingbourne for customers I have done various work for over the last few years.

A pull out tap change in Kemsley. I am out for a few small jobs tomorrow morning and available for emergencies, as usual I'll get to you if I can.

A bit of a variety today starting off with a service on a boiler I fitted a year ago, as expected all ok.

A waste pipe repair in Sittingbourne which was straight forward and I'm back next week to fit an outside tap.

A 3 port valve replaced next along with a new ball valve. This system really could do with a flush, the water was draining like oil.

A bath tap replaced next in Kemsley along with a toilet repair before finishing off in Sheerness replacing a dodgy basin waste.

It was a late start today so got to who I could. Unfortunately I didnt make a boiler service so that's been rescheduled for Thursday

Some plumbing jobs completed, 2 toilet cistern repairs, one of which a customer had attempted without much luck. A basin mixer with clicker waste fitted in Bapchild.

A landlords gas safety check with boiler service carried out today in Bapchild.

Includes testing for gas leaks throughout the property as well as making sure all gas appliances are safe to use and working as they should be and checking any carbon monoxide alarms are in date and operational.

A couple of worn out rusty radiatiators replaced in Teynham this morning.

A landlord gas safety check completed in Murston.

Finished off in Bobbing investigating a pressure issue with the incoming cold mains supply. After a few checks to rule out internal problems a call was made to Southern water who will be attending to check the supply.

Vaillant heat only boiler installation finished today. This job ran over as the wiring was a mess and took a bit of working out.

Hive controls added which means the customer can now control their heating and hot water using their phone from anywhere.

10 year warranty ✅️

System flushed ✅️

Heating tank cleaned out and new ball valve ✅️

Magnetic filter ✅️

New pump ✅️

New diverter valve ✅️

Dont do many of these, service on an air source heat pump alongside an unvented cylinder service today in Minster. I have worked for these customers at their previous address so it was good to be invited to their new home for further work.

Cylinder drained, expansion vessels checked ✅️

Filters cleaned ✅️

Safety valves and discharge tested ✅️

Heating system repressurised and system bled ✅️

Pump fan and fins cleaned and checked ✅️

Condense cleaned and tested ✅️

Gas leaks checked for at refrigerant circuit ✅️

Wiring checked ✅️

Following a customer calling first thing to reschedule I had to move things around a bit.

A heating system not working which turned out to be a fuse once components had been tested.

A continuously running toilet cistern stripped down and had the innards replaced.

Got back to Saturday's emergency and fitted a new Siamp cistern.
