Revolution Finish

👻🎃 This is how the rest of my week is looking.

The plan? Degrease and sand all client's kitchen doors and drawers ready to be spray painted in a specialist kitchen primer.

This kitchen in particular is having 2 colours, strong colour island with nice neutral wall units.

Wow! The Joa's White from Farrow and Ball with newly installed antique brass handles are a great combination with the wooden worktop.

You can really see the amazing finish spraying offers for kitchen doors that brush and roller can't achieve.

The kitchen doors were peeling with broken hinges and dated handles. We resolved this by striping off the wrap, correct preparation, replaced broken hinges for soft closing ones and just to finish off by filling in the old handle holes and drilled holes for new handles.

6 years ago today Jenkins Decorators became Revolution Finish. 😄

Jenkins Decorators has been established for 4 years now. I couldn't be happier of how far myself and my business has come. 😊🖌🎨

Back from starting out as an apprentice for a firm in 2013, to starting on my own business in 2017.

Throughout the last 4 years I have built up a good reputation along with a strong client base and I am continuing to build both up to this day.

I've recently introduced spray painting and dust free sanding to the business and it has been a big hit!

I will hopefully soon be completing training in kitchen / furniture spraying along with spray plaster, which will give me a broader range of opportunities and skills.

With all these big and exciting changes, I felt the name needed to represent the services / products that I am selling... after much thought, the name 'Revolution Finish' felt appropriate for my brand and what I do.

These changes will be 'revolutionary'. 😉

Finally finished the 1st stage of prepping!!! 😅 oh yes you want it done properly there are a few stages of prep work.

Now the fun part with spray painting. A coat of primer is applied first before top coat to help paint adhesion and coverage.

New week, new project, new update. 💪🏻😊

Something bit different to kitchens. Been a long day sanding this unit. Most people think its the painting that takes the longest when actually it's only 10% of the work the other 90% is the prep.
