This Sunday, our Director Mandy will be taking on an incredible challenge — a 12,000 ft tandem skydive to raise money for Pilgrims Hospices, in loving memory of her daughter, Natalie. 💚

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity incredibly close to Mandy and her family’s hearts. Despite having a fear of heights, Mandy has decided to take to the skies as her way of giving something back to the charity that showed her family such kindness and compassion during an incredibly difficult time.

🚧 Fencing works completed 🚧

Our team recently completed the supply and installation of approximately 325 metres of rabbit proof fencing, designed to help protect the surrounding area whilst maintaining safe and practical access.
Works included:
✔️ Installation of rabbit proof fencing dug 250mm below ground level in an L-shape formation
✔️ 1.2mm gauge hexagonal rabbit netting with a 31mm mesh pattern
✔️ Finished fence height of 900mm above ground
✔️ Supply and installation of 3 pedestrian gates (900mm wide) with self-closing mechanisms
✔️ Installation of 1 vehicle access gate (3600mm wide) with timber threshold
✔️ Rabbit proof mesh continued to ground level for additional protection

Projects such as these help provide long-term boundary solutions whilst reducing the risk of wildlife access into sensitive areas.

A couple of our operatives have recently passed a CAT & Genny (Cable Avoidance Testing) course, enhancing their knowledge and practical skills when working near underground services.🏅

This half-day training focused on improving safety, awareness, and accuracy when locating and identifying underground utilities.

The course covered key areas including:

🌳Following HSG 47 guidance for avoiding danger
🌳Safely operating CAT & Genny equipment
🌳Locating and identifying a range of underground services
🌳Understanding required PPE and safe working practices
