I’m very proud to have designed the trade stand for the alongside and at RHS Chelsea this year.

It is a brilliant opportunity to create a space that not only showcases planting ideas but also celebrates the people, stories and expertise behind the college.

Having met my teammates during our Planting Design Diploma last year, it feels really special to be creating a space that celebrates everything the college offers its students and the wider garden design community.

Last week I revisited a garden I designed to see how it’s settling in since we completed it in January. It’s already becoming the calm, inviting space my clients wanted, a garden to potter in, unwind, and enjoy throughout the seasons.

The team at brought the layout to life with real craftsmanship and as the planting develops it is softening the hard landscape. We added six small multi‑stem trees to the space and the Cercis siliquastrum have completely stolen the show with their bright spring blossom.

As summer arrives, the perennials will fill out, gradually covering the bark mulch with easy‑to‑maintain layers of texture and colour.

The final images show the immediate before and after, it always amazes me how quickly gardens change and develop.

I love, love, love, spring bulbs.
Since moving to my new house 3 years ago I just have planted a couple of thousand- through planting beds and in the lawn.
These photos show one of my borders where I planted 500 Narcissus Salome, with tulip fosterina “Easter parade” Restricting the variety and planting large quantities of the ones you chose definitely has great visual impact

Very proud to be part of this

On Saturday, staff and students came together along with George’s family to plant the memorial garden which has been designed with our gardening team, Lizzie and the students along with George’s family. The sun shone down as we planted over 300 plants and we are so grateful for the support to fundraise, contribute and support what is a beautiful project in the memory of a wonderful young man 🌸☀️

Honoured to return to the school where I once taught and to work with George’s friends and family on creating his memorial garden.

Today was planting day, with everyone coming together to help establish the space and set the garden on its way.

I’m looking forward to seeing how his friends, who’ve already taken such care and interest in the garden, continue to look after it as it grows, and I hope it becomes a place for connection and warm memories.

What a dream request from my client for their planting design!
This scheme makes me smile every time I see it on the design board, and I can already imagine the joy it will bring once it’s flowering away in real life!
