Swipe to the end for a surprise….

Did someone say POINTING! We love a rainy day job. Raked out sad cement mortar, and replaced with a lime based - sharp/plastering/soft sand for a nice variation of grain size - both functional and beautiful!

Jake here raking out and repointing a sample panel for our next customer;

It’s been a busy few weeks at our North Lincs site.
-100’s of meters of pointing in fresh Lime based mortar.
-Delaminating and damaged stone cills/copings/band courses removed or cut back, ready for replacement and indents.
-New front wall piers, with complimenting cast stone balustrades, plinth and rails installed.
-Vents and bricks spot replaced

So excited to see the scaffold struck!!!

A long week on our North Lincolnshire site; the team has been raking out old and tired mortar joints, removing damaged stonework, ready for fresh hard white limestone to be made, and starting a creamy fresh repoint. Now the bricks are all cleaned, this will look the “Clee’s Knees”.

ABC carried out the removal of the bottom half of failing plaster, and installation of 3 coats of fresh lime plaster, finished off with lime wash - damp issues sorted!

Always glad to see a project now the scaffolding is down!

ABC carried out brickwork, including gable end detail to the extension, and the original house. Arched soldier courses, cill installation, blockwork, and even a hand carved reclaimed limestone date stone to the gable.
Glad to see it all coming together!

The Brickwork is looking pucker on our North Lincolnshire project!
Big shout out to Danny at ‘DP Window and pressure cleaning’ for carrying out a Hydroflouric wash to this property. “Brought these bricks up a treat like!”
