It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Terry Volland, the founding figure of our proud family business. Terry dedicated himself to the company up until his retirement in 2023 and greatly enjoyed travelling and meeting new people along the way.

Since Terry's retirement, James has proudly continued the business that both he and Terry built together in 2008. We remain committed to delivering the same excellent service across the UK, specialising in cellar cooling installations and maintenance.

We have been quiet on the social media front, so a quick end of summer update 😎 ❄️

It's was an extraordinarily busy Summer for us, and it was good to see businesses getting back up to speed again. Whilst the industry suffered from stock issues throughout the Summer, we were able to foresee the issues with a large stock intake back in the Spring and still going strong with installs small and large.

However, there continue to be major stock issues with manufacturers and suppliers, which along with an already busy schedule means all installers are suffering from long turnaround times at this time. If you have an ageing system or plan on replacing we would highly advise, be it with us, or any installer to get your booking in now so we can allocate a system, as the backlog could continue well into 2022. Our turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, and most installers will have similar turnaround times, but we are here to help in emergencies and are trying to prioritise where possible.

Unfortunately, there have been price increases in both materials and systems, and these are likely to reoccur in the coming months, again being a good reason to book early if you can. The main issue causing price increases are container prices which continue to increase. Despite these increases, we are confident we remain competitively priced against others and are working with suppliers to keep costs down where we can.

We have been absent on social media due to a crazy 8 weeks, flatout installing systems across the country. It's been great seeing business getting back up and running, and drinkers enjoying their local, first outside than inside (out of this wonderful weather we have been having ☂️). We're pleased to be a part of that, and hope that better times are ahead for owners and drinkers alike 🙂❄️
