Crafting your dream surfaces. That’s what we do. Though our stone processing machines are fast and efficient as you can see here, crafting the work surfaces that will be the finishing touch to your dream kitchen or bathroom takes patience, experience and time.

We pride ourselves on doing every project right first time. This means we don’t compromise on quality at any stage of the process. High quality technology, machines, tools, processes and team.

If you want high quality stone, quartz, porcelain worktops that fit perfectly, with no call backs once installed, then give us a call.

We work closely with our suppliers and it’s important to us that there is a mutual respect that flows between us and all the other companies we work with. We were delighted to hear that Antolini are opening a London showroom and to be one of only a handful of stone fabricators invited to the launch of Antolini® Stone Gallery London last week. As you would expect, the showroom was stunning and a great reflection of Antolini’s brand.

Wishing the Antolini team every success. Do visit if you get the chance.

MARBLE FLOOR | This particular project kept our Donatoni Twin S4Q busy for some time. Just shy of 100 square metres of flooring for a private residence. Michal, our expert operator, carefully watched each cut being made by the S4Q transforming all the slabs - which had been cut from one block - into large floor tiles.

Not every project can be photographed when complete, and that’s fine with us. We understand that some clients want and need privacy. Whilst we won’t be able to share pictures of this floor when laid, you can tell that the natural striations and veining in the marble tiles will be visually stunning when installed.

Back in June, silicosis hit the UK headlines. For some this was the first time they had heard of silicosis but at Classico Marble we take our teams' health & safety seriously and have been protecting our team for years.

We're proud that the Classico Marble Ltd workshops were put forward as a safe, professional stone fabrication workshop for ITV Meridian's Westminster correspondent Kim Bradshaw to visit and film for the ITV News report on silicosis.

Our high standards of service are backed by the highest standards of safety on our workshops. Silicosis is caused by breathable silica dust, and our mantra is 'Don't make the dust in the first place'. We do this through water suppression on all our machines.

Watch the full report on ITV news or find a link to it in our stories, and read our news story about this.

If you want to work with a reliable, safe stone fabricator with a great reputation for high quality work that has been built up over more than 30 years, then get in touch with us now.

CERAMICS | Porcelain and ceramics are the buzzword at the moment when it comes to worktop materials, and this one in particular. This is Fior di Viola 4D by Sapienstone and our clients have been specifying this for kitchen worktops, flooring, shower cladding, bathroom vanity units, and more. You cannot walk through our workshops without seeing it being processed on a machine or waiting to go out for installation.

The veining and pattern goes all the way through the material - this is no surface printed pattern - and it's durable, perfect for a busy home.

Where would you use it?

If you are planning to use porcelain for your next project, get in contact if you want a stone fabricator experienced in working with that material. Tel: 01753 580044

DETAILS | We love working with design professionals. They see the details that we see, the veining, the myriad of colours in each slab of stone. For this project, Adelise Morgan-Scully of Elementi Cucina helped her client pick out this slab of Belvedere granite for their kitchen. She could see how it would be a point of quiet luxury in the space, picking up all the colour cues, and yet also be durable and practical for the family.

Though it is a dark granite, the golden veining warms up the space and heightens all the other metallics in the kitchen.

Our team crafted all the stone surfaces in this kitchen using granite and quartz exactly to Adelise's instructions, following our four-step process. Find out more about our process and how we work on our website: https://classicomarble.pulse.ly/jgvekkibgq

PROJECT | For this contemporary kitchen in Berkshire, we fabricated a stunning Belvedere granite splashback and cladding for the back wall. We crafted the stone to give the illusion of running acrosss the whole wall behind the wall cabinets up to the ceiling. The organic veining and iridescent properties pick up all the colour cues in the scheme.

We also made extra deep quartz worktops from Stone Italiana Luna with a textured finish for the kitchen run and the substantial central kitchen island. A cut out for a recessed sink and Quooker tap, and a waterfall edge add to the luxury feel of the kitchen. Kitchen Designer: Elementi Cucina

We pride ourselves in always doing each job right the first time whether it is an offcut that has been crafted into something small but special, or 1,300 kitchen worktops such as for the Horlick's Quarter for Berkeley Homes.

NEWS | Statement worktops are not going away. Our managing director Salvatore Caruso is quoted in this month's edition of Kbbreview in a feature on worktop and surface trends.

Classico Marble is the sole fabricator quoted in the article and he says he is seeing "...a significant shift towards materials with bold veining and movement for a year or so now across all materials, from natural stone, quartz to even the latest high-tech porcelains..."

Grab a coffee (Italian coffee obviously) and sit down to read the full article in the June issue of kbbreview. Check out the different materials we frequently work with on our website at www.classicomarble.co.uk/materials

Many thanks to Francesca Seden and the kbbreview team.

BOOKMATCH | There are some projects and materials that really stand out in your mind. For this project, our customer had selected an incredible series of bookmatched Splendido Quartzite slabs that they wanted for their client's kitchen.

Often as the fabricator, secretly we prefer the stone before appliances and sink recesses are cut into the slab. But for this project, we think this high-tech Gaggenau gas cooktop with the controls fitted on the front apron looks fantastic.

Contact us now about the stone surfaces in your next development or property project. All contact details are in our profile.
