Scammer Locksmith Alert 🚨 The Weather Is Out & So Are All The Scammer .
These dreadful people will be out in force during this weather , they usually rank top on Google , because they buy Fake Reviews & Quote a job far to low & then hike the job up on attendance maybe 10 or 20 times higher .
So some tips for safe guarding .
1 , Never pay Cash , as the Banks cannot trace the money & pull it back if you have been Scammed .
We do B A C S ( Bank Transfer ) to keep our Customers safe , also we use a Bank Card Reader , also keeping your account number safe .
2 , Record the amount that is quoted if you have that option on your phone .
3 , Cheap is not Cheerful , in fact after the Customer has been scammed it’s very miserable.
4 , If you’re on your own or are vulnerable get a neighbour or family member to be with you , when the Cheap Scammer calls .
5 , These Scammers use Drills & Crowbars to open the door & damage it the door or lock , so the customer is unable to use the door .
6, They are linked to money laundering also .
7, It is not possible to run a legitimate Locksmith Business on £35 / £45 / £55
All of the above is linked to a Crime Called ( Fishing ) dangle the hook & see who bites , when they do they bite back they take a huge financial transaction either in Cash or Debit or Credit Card , So Don’t Pay Cash .
My company is licensed by the Master Locksmith Association, we cover Berkshire & Buckinghamshire, we are also DBS Checked & Carry Photo ID & Our Van is identifiable everyone knows we’re in the street , Scammers turn up in Cars & other vehicles that are not identifiable & usually park they away from the property so you can’t get the registration plate number .
Some of these Scammers keep spare keys if the lock has been changed without the Customers knowledge .
They are also not local & buy local numbers & also local postcodes , giving the illusion they are local .
They usually come in Pairs also but maybe alone , they are also very intimidating .
If you feel you are being Scammed & the original price has been massively higher than quoted , call 999 because you may be getting scammed .
