Gold Paint Painting decorating & Murals Hello! My fiancée and I are in Solihull and have 2 young lively, gorgeous girls that definitely keep us on our toes!

I’m Zoë Gold, I started my painting and decorating journey with my dad and grandad in London back when I was 15 years old and have been passionate about everything home décor ever since. I have been working on various projects on a part time basis over the years, building a wealth of experience and knowledge in different areas of interior design and home décor. Earlier this year, I made the decisi

on to quit my job and follow my heart into a full-time painting, decorating & interior design career. Hello GOLD PAINT! This was a massive step for me and my family, but we felt the time was right for me to take the plunge and do something for me; to follow my dream of one day being an interior designer. This will allow me to have a better home/work life balance and hopefully will show my girls that if you are ambitious and work hard you can achieve your dream career. Being a role model for them is so important to me, and I want them to know that your career should be something that excites you, that makes you love getting out of bed every morning. I am now a painter decorator and have worked on both residential and commercial projects, such as house renovations, commercial showrooms and room paint & refresh. I undertake work on jobs that can take weeks, or simple day jobs in the home. I also specialise in wall murals – which I love doing as I can really get my creative juices flowing. I love to see the look on my clients faces when they see their newly completed, bespoke, hand painted piece. This is real job satisfaction for me and a growing area of my business. As well as painting, decorating & murals, I also offer an interior design consultation service to help my clients bring their ideas to life. We work closely to bring the design into something tangible, with my ideas and advice enhancing the project along the way. The final look will be something we are both proud to have created together. This made my day!
The wrong paint was sent out with the driver (luckily I wouldn't be needing it for a couple of days), the next morning before I'd even arrived at my clients house the same driver had delivered the correct paint along with a pack of chocolatey hobnobs👌

Happy Monday!
Here's some more photos from my clients house in Shirley.
After transforming the dining room I moved onto the Front door (which just needed a refresh) and the Hall, Stairs and Landing.

Materials used:
Ceilings: Dulux Supermatt
Walls:
Dining room: Dulux Trade Diamond Matt Teal Voyage.
Dulux Diamond Matt White Mist (light grey)
Dulux Diamond Matt dx-tprm2kgkht (light green) - this was a colour match.
Woodwork:
Dulux Trade Quick Dry Undercoat white
Dulux Satinwood pure brilliant white

Loving the green feature wall in this space, it really adds some warmth whilst keeping the space light 👌

Back in Knowle last week!
I had previously painted the kitchen and this time I came to repair some damaged bedroom walls. My client likes the colour so we kept it close but went a tiny shade lighter with Afternoon Nap by Valspar.

As you can see from the photos the walls were patchy and uneven.
I used the Toupret magic levelling kit to skim the walls before sanding and painting.

Ceiling: Dulux Supermatt
Walls: Valspar Premium Afternoon Nap
Woodwork: Dulux Undercoat and Satinwood

It went on a treat and the walls are back to being smooth and solid 😍
