M.D Thermal are pleased to announce we have secured the insulation package for Beorma Tower in Birmingham City centre, due to start December 2024.

Beorma Tower Phase II is underway with a new 30-storey, 113m mixed-use building.

The tower will introduce 124 all-electric homes – 60 one, 45 two & 19 three-beds; 50 – 153 sqm – and 152K SF of new commercial.

Served by two staircases, there will be 10 floors of offices, punctuated by a plant room, with 17 floors of homes thereafter – the latter served by all-electric heating from the basement.

The 1930s frontage of 138 High Street & 135-137, will also be integrated into the building.

Facilities at Beorma will include a cinema room, a 28th-floor gymnasium, and 29th-floor penthouses with winter garden terraces.

M.D Thermal are pleased to announce that we have secured the insulation package from one of our valued clients for Beacon Academy in Cleethorpes, due to start in December/January.

The project will feature a new three-storey secondary school building and the refurbishment of an existing block, which will provide classrooms and specialist Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) teaching facilities. The development also includes enhanced parking facilities and new social spaces for students.

M.D Thermal are pleased to announce that we have secured the insulation package for the new Redditch combined emergency services hub.

This project consists of insulation to new chilled water, heating and domestic pipework and insulation to fresh air and exhaust ducting on all MVHR and NVHR units.

Work will commence onsite next week and will run for around 3 months. Project completion is Aug 2024.

Exciting News!

M.D Thermal Ltd has successfully secured the Thermal Insulation package from one of our valued customers for St. Georges Barracks in Bicester.

The project consists of 72 apartment pods, which will be built off site in Yorkshire and then transported to the barracks in Bicester.

The package involves supplying and installing mineral wool duct wrap on all ducting from the MVHR units within the apartments and communal areas. We will also be insulating the domestic water services and heating services.

We are pleased to showcase our recent project completed for A R Richards Skip Hire in Market Drayton, West Midlands, United Kingdom. Our team was tasked with providing trace heating and thermal insulation to protect their fire mains pipework from frost damage.

To achieve this, we fitted frost protection trace heating to the fire mains pipework and covered it with glass fibre pipe sections. We then finished the insulation with PIB to provide a durable and weather-resistant seal.

In addition to this, we also fitted thermal jackets to the valves to provide an extra layer of insulation and prevent heat loss from the trace heating cable.
