One of our recent jobs in Trull, Taunton for a longstanding client.

This Prunus cerasifera had become diseased and was accompanied by a number of large surface roots which were causing issues within the garden. Using our FSI B22 stump grinder, we removed the stump along with the entire surface root footprint, leaving the area ready for landscaping.

The final photo shows the transformation completed by the client following our work. The original tree has now been replaced with two varieties of container-grown Japanese Acer, creating a completely different look for the garden.

This stump was removed using our older Jo Beau 31-110 grinder. It shows what these machines are capable of, even on larger stumps.

The Jo Beau can grind deeper than most stump grinders and, just as importantly, can also tackle taller, raised stumps when needed.

Before grinding, we normally reduce the stump height as much as possible with a chainsaw. On this job, the stump had already been taken down as far as was practical, so the grinder had to deal with a lot more height than usual.

Even so, the Jo Beau handled it without any issues and produced a good result.

A nice reminder of some of the jobs this machine took on before we upgraded.
