We received an unusual request today. Our customer had been delivered some live food by mistake and we identified them as desert iocusts! Desert locusts are bred specifically as live food for certain reptiles. 🦎🐍🦗

Not the sort of insect we usually deal with, but we were able to retrieve the locusts and find them a home.

This time of year, we often receive a surge of calls about “swarms of wasps” around homes and gardens. In many cases, what you're seeing isn’t a threat at all – it’s actually honey bees swarming, and it’s a completely natural and temporary event.

Honey bees swarm to find a new home. They're usually calm and will move on in a day or two.

We completed extensive rodent proofing works today on a property heavily affected by rats. We identified entry points through the drainage system and damaged airbricks.

Our solution? - installing airbrick covers, fitting a one-way drain valve, and sealing exposed drainage to eliminate access.
