G S Haydon and Son ltd Joinery firm based in North Devon making unique items of joinery in a wide range of woods and styles Our main work is solid wood joinery.

G S Haydon & Son was established in 1926 as a Wheelwright business. We have been based in South Molton since that date and now operate from our accessible workshop on the Pathfields Business Park. Making windows, doors and stairs is the mainstay of what we do. Typically our joinery is made from durable hardwoods. In addition we also make kitchens, wardrobes and refurbishment work. We can also shar

pen saw blades, garden tools etc as well as provide wood to cutting lists. We provide a site survey and free estimates and an installation service.

Installed another of our custom made timber doors today.

The clients was very specific in terms of design, ironmongery, glass and coatings.

We were excellent to work with and allowed us the time to bring everything together.

The keen eyed may notice wires not being clipped back. This is intentional as the wires will be relocated in due course.

Out on Dartmoor yesterday. Happy to install another one of our timber doors in a really unique cottage that is being renovated.

The clients really worked hard selecting a colour. Farrow & Ball Grate Black No.9920 was a great choice. It's a soft black and prevents a harsh look.

Nicely finished off with Bronze "From The Anvil" lever fittings.
