Lovely job today in South Molton:
- Replacement consumer unit (safer and easier to reset circuits). Now mounted 150mm away from gas pipe
- Main earth uprated
- Gas bond moved before the joint/bend
All done in good time, so I was able to replace/refit a few broken back boxes at no extra charge 😊

Hi everyone, it's official, Sarah Holt Electrical has moved. I'm now based just outside South Molton. Unfortunately my Partner is currently very poorly. So I'll be concentrating on working nearer to where I live so I can continue to be carer/taxi driver etc 😁

Completing an EICR today and the results weren't adding up, after some cable tracing in the loft I found this junction box. 6 cables in one JB on a ringmain.... All time record. There were multiple spurs on spurs! This means the cable was not protected adequately and could have been overloaded.
