We all expect that when we choose a brand of EV charger it has a complementary mobile phone app. This is the norm in a world where the consumer has endless options and choices regarding EV charging. Apps give the end user freedom in being able to schedule a charge, see real time and historical data with cost per kWh. Coms from charger to back office to app can be hit and miss with a WIFI connection. A hard wire via cat cable never fails to the customer's router. A hard wire via cat cable is the only connection that is stable enough in my view.

Myenergi Eddi is a great solution to heat hot water in a domestic water cylinder if a property has an existing solar array. It works by diverting any under utilised solar generation to an immersion coil. This in turn reduces heating costs for hot water. If a property has multiple Myenergi products such as a Zappi EV charger a wireless harvi alongside an energy clamp will measure electric consumption and export enabling seamless energy savings.
