Check out Tesco flower section when you're food shopping. Nipped in for some taties. Came out with £40 worth of flowers for £ 4.
I wanted some white vases anyway. RESULT!! 😁😁😁😁 .
They often sell stuff off very very cheap because they have a 7 day guarantee so reduce once they get to date .

I love Echium Pininana but they are biennial and I have never successfully got one through the winter .
I bought a few plants earlier in the year thinking I'd give it another go. Planted them up ( next to the path 😕 😞, what an idiot 🙄), not really expecting them to do much.
They're going berserk!!!
I may have a problem .....🤣.

Good quality stuff but bags are degraded/faded. Growbags /Ericaceous/Tub and Basket Compost/ Rose and Tree Compost.

Having a mooch in Emily's Nursery and came across these hidden away in a corner. Couldn't resist . They're small but a good price...you'd pay that for a normal fern. However, as my son Ellis said " they'll be a foot tall by the time I die"
He's 30.

Can't take my eyes off my Brugmansia ( Angels Trumpet). Very easy to grow from seed or cuttings, I've got 5 or 6 of these now 🤔 ( how did that happen 🙃).
They are happy outside all summer and I just bring them into the conservatory for the winter. I'll be setting some more babies away at the end of the year so may have some for sale next year .
(Might have to sell the ones I already have cos I'm seriously running out of space 🙃)

Erm. This is a bit embarrassing.
The white flowers are bindw**d. I'm overrun with it in my garden. I fight with it every year . I've been meaning to get around to this bit but not managed. Now the sodding thing is flowering .
BUT ... I love it amongst the purple clematis . So tempted to just leave it a while cos it looks so pretty .
( Bindw**d is an absolute nightmare. It strangles plants and the roots can go on for miles....well, not miles, but a long way ) . If you have it and want to dig it out, be prepared to capture every last millimetre of root or it will multiply . Sigh 😕

Lilies are easy, as they're bulbs. Just chuck them in the ground and they'll come back every year.
Daylilies are easier still, they multiply every year. I've got masses of them

So this is what makes me REALLY happy. 😁😁😁.
Wandering around the garden in my pyjamas with a cuppa digging up/ picking our Sunday dinner.
This was a dead area in the garden that we decided to turn into a veg plot . Blood, sweat and tears and a few months later tadaaaah!!! Can't believe this was a wasteland at Christmas.
Those taties are bloody gorgeous, I love digging potatoes 🥔, it's like panning for gold and reminds me of tatie picking in the fields with my mam when I was teeny.
