Established in 2006 we are a family run business dedicated to providing a quality service to bring your garden dreams and designs alive. Ground Designs was founded in 2006 by Gary Joynes, who started his landscaping career at the age of 16, with over 40 years’ exper

ience. Gary retired in August 2019, passing the business over to myself, Dean Joynes, having worked for Gary as his right-hand man for over ten years. Gary trained and taught me the skills of our trade, from patios to planting, walls to garden maintenance. We have heavily invested in our own equipment, including HGV and plant machinery. This ensures we can complete your project efficiently, are able to take away all unwanted materials and leave site clean and tidy after each working day.

We are pleased to confirm the successful completion of a three-week landscaping project that has transformed the outdoor space into a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and wildlife-friendly environment. The work included the use of high-quality, durable materials and careful craftsmanship to ensure long-term value and visual appeal. 🪴

Scope of Work:

Concrete Base Construction:
A solid and level concrete foundation was laid to support an outdoor living area, ensuring durability and structural integrity.
Sandstone Patio Installation:
Natural sandstone slabs were installed to create a stylish and hardwearing patio, offering a warm, organic appearance that complements the garden’s overall look.
Limestone Setts:
Limestone setts were used to edge the patio and define transitional zones, adding texture and contrast while enhancing the visual detail.
Trellis Work:
Custom trellis structures were installed to provide privacy, vertical planting options, and visual interest.
Natural Stone Wildlife Pond:
A natural stone-lined pond was created to encourage biodiversity. This feature not only enhances the beauty of the garden but also supports local wildlife by providing a sustainable habitat.
