Groundworks Operations/Business Development Manager

PDQ Kerb Laying & Groundworks are looking for an experienced industry professional to help support the next phase of our growth.

We are seeking somebody with strong operational experience, excellent industry contacts and a proven background in groundworks, civil engineering or utilities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an experienced groundworks professional with an extensive network of industry contacts and a proven track record within civil engineering, infrastructure, roads & sewers, utilities or residential development.

This role would suit an individual who has spent many years building relationships within the industry and is looking to use that experience to help grow an ambitious and expanding business rather than spending everyday fire fighting!

You may currently be working as a Contracts Manager, Operations Manager, Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or similar role and be looking for an opportunity where your industry knowledge, relationships and commercial experience can have a genuine impact.

Groundwork delivery gangs needed, 4x3 man gangs. Must be experienced in all aspects of groundwork including finishings on 278 type work and drainage. The gang is to consist of a ganger a machine op and skilled op. Van and fuel provided. MUST be able to pass a D&A test. CSCS and plant tickets needed. Southampton Portsmouth and surrounding areas. Great rates of pay.

A driveway extension with a new PCC edging and slab footpath and also a large repair to the existing asphalt drive which was damaged due to an old tree roots pushing up. Also an extension to the existing drop crossing. We always suggest to seek other quotes and we’re confident that on a like for like basis we won’t be beaten on price or quality.
