Bespoke Cedar Privacy Screen 🌿

A recent bespoke cedar privacy screen, designed and built to make the most of a slightly awkward space alongside the existing gate and brickwork.

The screen was made using cedar timber, with each slat carefully set out and fitted for a clean, consistent finish.

Once fitted, I applied a UV-protection oil, which has really brought out and enhanced the natural colour of the cedar while helping protect the timber from the elements.

Not always the easiest spaces to work with, but getting the details right makes all the difference.

Really pleased with how this one turned out — a simple addition that has completely transformed the space.

A recent project completed for a customer.

The existing wall was transformed with oak slatted panels, a wall-mounted TV and a bespoke floating TV unit with a solid timber top.

Everything made to measure and fitted to suit the space.

From a Simple Repair to a Stunning Feature Wall

This customer originally wanted the old fireplace opening filled in after removing the fire.

After talking through a few ideas, I suggested creating two recessed display niches with integrated LED lighting. Not only has it transformed the wall into a real feature, but it also allowed the TV to be mounted lower, making it much more comfortable to watch… no more sore necks!

From removing the old fireplace to building the bespoke framework, installing the lighting, decorating and painting, I completed the entire transformation from start to finish.

The customer loved the idea from the outset and is absolutely delighted with the finished result – and so am I.

If you’re thinking about updating your living room, don’t be afraid to ask for ideas. Sometimes a small change in the original plan can completely transform the space.

This conservatory started as a bare screed floor and is now finished with a beautiful oak-effect LVT, completely changing the look and feel of the space.

Herringbone style flooring fitted, along with new skirting, architrave and an oak door to bring everything in line with the rest of the house.

A simple combination of finishes that has completely changed the feel of the space and turned it into a room that looks like it’s always been there.

Back to a returning customer, to complete the final stage of their bedroom renovation.

After previously installing the built-in wardrobes, I returned to fit the oak slat feature wall behind the headboard, tying everything together and giving the room a clean, contemporary finish.

The combination of the panelling, bespoke wardrobes and rich green décor creates a real boutique hotel feel, and it’s great to see the project completed exactly as discussed and the customer envisioned.

Back to a previous customer for this one — always appreciated.

There was an ongoing issue with cracking along the staircase, so instead of patching it again, we changed the detail properly.

Architrave was fitted along the stairs to create a solid, clean edge that can handle movement, with new skirting through the hallway to tie everything in.

All ready for oiling to match the existing doors and complete the look.

Sharp lines, tidy mitres, and a finish that’ll last.

A recent hallway and staircase transformation completed ✅

The customer had originally started the wall panelling themselves but found it a bit tricky, so asked me to come in and take it on. After pricing the work, they also decided to go ahead with 4 new internal doors to complete the look.

Work carried out;
• 4 new internal doors supplied and fitted
• Wall panelling with Dado rail completed and refined throughout
• Pig’s ear handrail installed to tie everything in

A great result in the end — clean, consistent, and finished to a high standard throughout.
