Hill Rise Hall, Basingstoke

Hill Rise Hall has been used as a community hall for over 40 years but is now in need of a complete external refurbishment. The Hall is regularly hired by various groups ranging from a dance academy, amateur winemakers and a craft workshop.

To start this project it needed scaffolding to wrap around the whole of the building. We can then get on with removing all the old fascias, insulation and cladding and completely replace it. When this project is finished it will be a great transformation!

We are doing an internal refurbishment of these showrooms for an antique dealer in Avington who is viewed as one of the top 100 UK interior designers in the country, so no pressure!!

This building exudes elegance and grandeur, so we will ensure that the end result enhances the furniture and antiques that will fill these rooms. It is great to be able to use some classic paint colours to complement these lovely rooms.

Hill Rise Hall is run by a Community Association and the building is in need of a complete external refurbishment which is funded by Basingstoke Council.

All the timber fascias and cladding have to be removed and replaced with new rosewood UPVC fascias and shiplap. It will also have the insulation and breather membrane behind the cladding renewed.

The transformation of this Hall will be much appreciated by the local community who will be able to make good use of it in the future.

This project in Poole involved the replacement of the windows and leadwork of this block of flats and required the use of scaffolding.

The finished result has greatly improved the overall appearance, especially of the leadwork which is now good as new and will last for many years to come.

Wellington Court, Bournemouth

We’ve got a great project in partnership with FirstPort at Wellington Court in Bournemouth. This building has 1000m2 of render which requires cleaning and then completely re-painting.

To be able to reach the top floors we will have to use a combination of cherry pickers and scaffolding. We’re looking forward to seeing the finished result on this stylish building.

Access to back gardens can be a bit tricky sometimes, especially when you need to get a mini digger in!!

With such limited space it looked impossible to do but with a lot of patience and an impressive 64 point turn Rob, our Director, was successful!!

Who knew Rob could manage such a practical task! 😂

We then used ground cover sheeting to prevent weeds from growing through, and finished it off with a top layer of shingle to give a spacious and tidy look to this Garden Room.

We carried out an EWS1 Survey on the external walls of Soda Studio in London W8.

An External Wall Survey is even more important following the Grenfell Tower fire which raised serious concerns regarding fire safety regulations especially on buildings over 18 metres with external cladding.

Google street view didn’t show the mobile kebab shop that we found on arrival! The owners kindly offered to not set up the following day so a survey could be done! Their help was much appreciated!!!
