👋 I’m Damien — founder of DD Roofing Services, born here in Southampton. I’m not just a roofer — I’m a perfectionist. I believe your home deserves more than “just another roofing job” — it deserves quality, honesty, and craftsmanship that lasts.

I started this company with one simple goal: to build roofs people can trust, and a name that homeowners actually remember for the right reasons.

With over 14 years of hands-on experience (and that doesn't include my team), I’ve seen it all — rushed jobs, cover-ups, and shortcuts that cost people far more than they should. That’s not what we’re about.

📢 Recently Completed: High-Quality Flat Roof Installation!🏠

We recently tackled this flat roof, ensuring longevity in our work and precision craftsmanship. Here is what we did:

𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢: The existing torch-on roof was showing clear signs of wear and tear, causing leaks and potential structural instability. A clear issue for many landlords that manage multiple properties.

𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣:

🔹️ 𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙝-𝙤𝙣 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛: addressing wear and delamination issues to prevent further damage.

🔹 ️𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨: We stripped back to the rafters and installed sturdy OSB3 boards, giving a solid foundation.

🔹️𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙋𝘿𝙈 𝙍𝙪𝙗𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙚: Secured with water-based deck adhesive and contact adhesive for a seamless, durable finish.

🔹️ 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨:Black UPVC trims for a sleek, polished look.

At DD Roofing Services, we take pride in delivering top-notch roofing solutions for commercial properties. Recently, we tackled a challenging roof replacement at Domino's Pizza 🍕 in Hook.
Here's a breakdown of our meticulous process:

🔨 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

🔹Corrected the tile headlap, to prevent water ingress.

🔹Removed and stacked existing tiles on the scaffold (provided by NFT Scaffolding Ltd)

🔹Installed Marley breathable membrane and new battens

🔹Added eave support trays to prevent the felt from sagging

🔹Re-tiled the roof, using existing and reclaimed tiles John James Reclamation

🔹Added dry verge caps to the gable ends

🔹Installed dry hip and ridge kit, for smooth hip runs.

🔹Finished off with new half-round, ridge tiles for a polished look.

🌟 Exciting News from DD Roofing Services !🌟

Yesterday, we took our two fantastic apprentices - Kieran and Tanisha embarked on an exciting journey to Birmingham for their introduction day at Midlands Construction College. They took tests in maths and English, met their tutor, and got a tour of the college facilities. It was a day filled with learning and new experiences for all of us!

🩵At DD Roofing Services, we strongly believe in career progression for our young and upcoming team members. We are proud to be an inclusive employer, passionate about breaking barriers and promoting women in construction.

👷‍♀️One of our apprentices, Tanisha, is a remarkable young woman who is defying the stigma around females in this industry. Despite her fear of falling, she faces all challenges head-on with bravery and determination, and we couldn't be more proud of her courage and dedication.

👷We also want to highlight Kieran, our other talented apprentice, who is eager to build on his experience and is excited about the endless possibilities that lie ahead in his roofing career.

🥰We are immensely proud of both our apprentices and look forward to seeing how they grow and excel in their future as skilled roofers. Their hard work and enthusiasm inspire us every day!
