RE - ROOF COMPLETED

New re-roof completed recently in Shirley area.

A roof with old Clay plain tiles this roof had seen many repairs over the years but got to the stage of needing to be replaced.

Clay tiles and fittings were very brittle with lots of weak points on the roof,

All tiles replaced and all old battens removed.

Installed all new breatherable membrane to roof area with treated roofing grade battens.

All new McCann interlocking roof tiles installed with dryfix bonding trays, Dryfix valley trays and Dryfix ridge and hip system installed.

Very happy customer with the final results.

Old leaking lead valley causing large amount of water damage to inside of property.

Old valley removed all old valley felt cut away and removed.

New sections of felt installed.

All new Dryfix valley tray installed with new tiles replacing broken / damaged tiles.

Very happy customer can now get internal works repaired and redecorated.

Another Conservatory Transformation Complete!

It’s always great to receive photos from happy customers showing the finished results of our work.

This conservatory has now been fully decorated, carpeted and furnished, completing its transformation into a beautiful, practical living and dining area.

What was once a traditional conservatory is now a comfortable, modern space that can be enjoyed all year round.

A fantastic transformation that really shows how an existing conservatory can be turned into a functional extension of the home.

Another conservatory transformation completed, turning what was previously a seasonal space into a comfortable room that can be used all year round.

The existing polycarbonate roof and glazing bars were completely removed before carrying out the following works:

Polycarbonate roofing and glazing bars removed.

One side of the conservatory fully bricked up with a new wall plate installed.

New timber cut roof constructed.

New lightweight roof slates installed, complete with a new GRP gully.

New UPVC fascia, soffits and guttering fitted.

Celotex insulation installed throughout the roof structure before plasterboarding.

New spotlights and electrical sockets installed.

All internal areas newly plastered and finished ready for decoration.

A complete transformation that has turned the existing conservatory into a much more practical, insulated and usable living space whatever the weather.

Competition of our conservatory project we posted last week!

Check out the final pictures and end results — transforming an old, tired conservatory into a fresh, modern, and usable space for our clients. The old conservatory is gone, and in its place is a a reconstructed build that completely changes how the space can be enjoyed.

We can’t wait to see the final product once the floor is laid and the walls are painted. Very happy customers, and another great transformation completed.

This porch was in serious need of some TLC… and we delivered a complete transformation.

The original structure had leaking corrugated roof sheets, rotten timbers, rotten fascia, and loose, perished brickwork. We carefully took the brickwork down halfway and rebuilt with new stud work and brand-new roof timbers to create a solid, long-lasting frame.

Openings were trimmed ready for new windows & door, and clean white UPVC cladding was installed to give the porch a fresh, modern look. To finish it off, we fitted a new EPDM single-ply roof along with new fascia and guttering — leaving the porch fully weatherproof and looking like new.

From tired and deteriorating to strong, smart, and ready for years to come.

Exciting progress on one of our current projects!

This single-skin conservatory is getting a complete transformation. We’ve started by stripping it back — the old roof and sides have now been fully removed to make way for a fresh new design.

So far, we’ve completed new blockwork and installed a cold roof structure, including an opening ready for a lantern to really brighten the space. We’re also incorporating some great second-hand patio doors, giving them a new lease of life while keeping things sustainable.

Looking forward to sharing the next stages as this space comes together! 👀

Since our post a few days ago.

93 yr old lady in Holbury had a slipped tile on the rear of roof companies had been round trying to talk her into a new roof for one slipped tile we attended this morning left within 15 minutes with slipped tile fixed.

All done FOC and now a problem the lady doesn’t have to worry about.
