Hi my name is Andrew Ward and I have been a gardener for the past 2 years - in this time I have never had to advertise as my jobs have always come through recommendations but with the winter months approaching and the tougher climate that we are in it’s now time to expand my client list

Gardening has always been a hobby of mine and after leaving Debenhams with 30 years service as Store Manager

I started my own business up and absolutely love my job being out in the fresh air whether it’s cutting grass or transforming a overgrown garden

I pride myself on timekeeping, customer service and delivering on what the customer wants

My job is more than just gardening it’s understanding what the customer wants for them to enjoy their gardens all year round.

Sadly Tessa one of my lovely customers passed away last month and her husband wants me to continue as it was Tessa pride and joy.

Not seeing her look out of the double doors today was really sad.

I will continue to ensure that her garden will always be just how she likes it

Today was fantastic as I set a little project to turn a w**d infested garden into a lovely green lawn.

A friend approached me asking if I could help but I’ve never laid lawn before.

I did the pre work in November and allowed the next few months to see what came back from the w**d point of view.

To my surprise it was in a good place to allow me to dig over again and get them final few w**ds out.

Then it was down to laying the lawn down and understanding the whole process which my good friend and a wonderful gardener Martin Smith showed me how and I am so grateful.

Not only was I really happy but my friend was overjoyed at the finish product and now I have another bow to my string and something I will certainly use you going forward
