Whilst carrying out an Electrical Installation Condition Report on a rented property it was noticed that the shower neutral termination was loose which caused it to overheat and melt the fuse board, landlord quickly authorised for the fuse board to be replaced and bring the installation up to current regulations.

These picture shows the importance of using a registered and competent electrician, called out to sockets not working, upon inspection found this cable wedged into a socket that had shorted out on to the metal back box, temporary fix carried out in order to restore the power until authorised to do it properly.

Well illumination carried out today, we had to pump the water out in order to gain access and asses the condition of the 200 plus year old well. New lighting fully accessible and maintainable from the surface. New pump installed for client to water their garden during the summer.
Full completion pictures to follow as we're awaiting the delivery of the glass cover, so watch this space!

Final summer house of the year completed.
Last minute call from the client who enquired to have it wired before Christmas, after a bit of diary juggling I managed to fit it in at short notice.
The skirting trunking is a very clean and convenient way of hiding the cables.
Soft, dimmable, adjustable lighting provides a nice environment to enjoy the outdoor garden room.
