A couple of months ago an elderly couple got in touch with me to see if I could help fix their under stairs storage. They’d only recently had it installed but even after getting the person back to make some adjustments the work was awful. The doors didn’t close, the drawers weren’t secured to the wall properly and it looked dreadful. Having already paid out almost £2,000 they didn’t have any money for a completely new unit, so I set up a go fund me page and people generously gave enough to cover the cost of material. I then got to work in my spare time making a replacement for them which meets their needs and looks a whole lot better than what they had! Thank you to everyone who donated, Hazel and Ron were overwhelmed by people’s kindness and generosity.
