Composite deck recently completed.
C24 145mm timber joists at 300mm centres as it should be. Joists supported with 100mm x 100mm timber posts concreted into the ground and bolted through not screwed, all joists have decking tape on top to extend the life of the timber.
All decking boards fixed with clips, not a single screw on show!
No nasty angle trim used to cover any of the edges of the boards.

A decking/ balcony refurbishment project that was completed a while back. This one involved removal of all the rotten decking boards and joists and one newel post. A large planter that could not be removed was supported before new joists could be fitted underneath, new deck boards where then fitted and a decking board skirting fitted around the planter to level it up and finally the staircase upto the balcony was treated to a new set of treads and risers and all newel caps replaced.
I’m really happy how this one turned out
