🚀 A Huge Thank You for Helping Deliver an Incredible Apprentice Induction Week! 🚀

We welcomed our newest cohort of apprentices to the EFT Group, and we wanted to take a moment to thank the many suppliers, manufacturers and training partners who helped make it one of the best induction weeks we've ever delivered.

Starting a career in the fire and security industry can be daunting, so giving our apprentices the opportunity to engage with the people, products, technologies and organisations that help shape our sector is invaluable. Your support, generosity and enthusiasm have made a real difference and helped set them up for success from day one.

👏 Special thanks to:

🔹 Sarah Knight & Mark Hadfield at Edmundson Electrical for providing tool bags and lunch for the apprentices. A thoughtful gesture that was greatly appreciated by everyone involved.

🔹 Andrea and the team at Ansell for hosting a fantastic factory tour, product overview session and lunch, giving our apprentices a great insight into the world of emergency light technology.

🔹 Michelle O'Reilly and the team at Orisec for an excellent training session, factory tour and lunch. A brilliant experience and an opportunity for our apprentices to learn from one of the industry's leading manufacturers.

🔹 Emma Francinoli and the Fire Industry Association (FIA) for providing an engaging introduction to the industry, including a tour of the FIA facilities, breakout sessions and an immersive VR experience.

🔹 Skills for Security for welcoming our apprentices to the college, providing tours of the facilities and giving them the opportunity to meet the tutors who will support them throughout their apprenticeship journey.

🔹 Rob Guyers and ADI Global Distribution for supplying tool kits to help equip our apprentices as they begin their careers.

🔹 Danny Kelly and the team at CSL for sorting some fantastic CSL merchandise for the apprentices and helping them feel part of the wider industry community.

The collaboration and support shown across the industry demonstrates exactly what makes the fire and security sector so special. Together, we're investing in the next generation of engineers and professionals, helping them build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for successful careers.

Following the success of our annual EFT Family Fun Day, we were delighted to present Centre 56 with a donation of £1,000, made possible through the generosity of our colleagues and supporters, with the £500 raised from our raffle being kindly matched by our new business partner, HBS.

Alongside the cheque presentation, we were also pleased to donate food and essential supplies to the charity's Rainbow Room, which provides families with access to food, clothing and everyday essentials when they need them most. With the school summer holidays creating additional pressures for many households, we hope this contribution will help make a positive difference.

The EFT Foundation team left feeling truly inspired by the amazing work being led by Alex Rigby and the entire Centre 56 team. Their passion, commitment and unwavering support for vulnerable children and families across Liverpool is nothing short of remarkable.

This visit is only the beginning. We're already exploring further opportunities to support Centre 56 and the fantastic work they do within our communities.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the Family Fun Day raffle, to HBS for their generous match funding, and to the Centre 56 team for the warm welcome and the life-changing work you carry out every day.

⚽️ EFT Foundation FC vs Mersey Mindset Charity Team ⚽️

What a fantastic game and a brilliant occasion for everyone involved!

The match was fiercely contested from the first whistle to the last, with both teams showing incredible determination, teamwork and sportsmanship. We're delighted that EFT Foundation FC came out on the right side of the result, but the real winners were everyone who took part and supported such a great cause.

A huge thank you to the team at Mersey Mindset, whose work helps men improve their mental health and wellbeing through community, connection and physical activity. The passion and commitment shown both on and off the pitch was outstanding.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone involved for making it such an enjoyable and competitive match. It was played in the right spirit, with plenty of quality football and a healthy rivalry throughout.

We're already looking forward to the rematch! 👊⚽

Before we do it all again… let’s take a look back at where it started! 👀

Last year, the inaugural EFT Darts Masters brought together over 100 supporters for an unforgettable night of darts, big walk-ons, plenty of competition and an incredible atmosphere! 🔥

And, most importantly, we managed to raise £2,500 for charity. 💙

Now we're ready to do it all again — and EFT Darts Masters 2026 is just around the corner!

Jordan, Stewart and Melanie had the privilege of visiting Salford Children’s Holiday Camp better known as 'Salford by the Sea' in Prestatyn.

Each of them had a personal reason for being there, and were completely blown away by what they saw and heard from Nick Abbott and the team.

Established in 1926, the camp will be celebrating it 100 years later in the year of giving children from Salford and Greater Manchester the opportunity to enjoy a holiday by the sea. Some of these children have never seen the sea before it was a privilege to be invited to explore support.

Just a stone’s throw from the beach and surrounded by plenty of open space, the camp gives children the chance to take a break from everyday life, build their independence, make lasting memories and most importantly simply enjoy being children.

The site has enormous potential, but it urgently needs support, repairs and upgrades so it can continue welcoming children and families for generations to come.

They left feeling inspired and excited to explore how we can support the camp and play a part in its next chapter.

🎉 We're delighted to announce that EFT Group has been named a Regional Finalist in the National Apprenticeship and Skills Awards 2026! 🎉

This achievement reflects our commitment to developing talent, investing in skills, and creating meaningful career opportunities through apprenticeships across our business.
We're incredibly proud of our apprentices, mentors, and colleagues whose hard work, dedication, and passion have made this recognition possible. Supporting skills development is a key part of who we are, and it's an honour to be recognised alongside so many outstanding organisations from across the region.

We're also looking forward to celebrating with fellow finalists at the North West Regional Awards Ceremony, which will take place at Manchester Hall on 1 October 2026.

Reaching a decade with any organisation is a fantastic achievement, and we're incredibly proud to recognise Paul's contribution to the business over the last 10 years.

Throughout his time with EFT Group, Paul has demonstrated outstanding commitment, professionalism, and dedication, helping to support our customers, colleagues, and the continued growth of the company. After the huge success of our inaugural EFT Darts Masters, we're back for what is shaping up to be an absolute comeback masterpiece!

Already, 16 players have signed up, and the field is beginning to take shape for what promises to be the biggest and best EFT Darts Masters yet.

🧡 Creating a lasting impact beyond construction 🧡

As part of the St Helens College Temporary Farm project, EFT Construction was proud to donate a life-saving defibrillator to Blossom Tree Nursery, with installation carried out by our team at EFT Electrical.

Defibrillators can make a critical difference in an emergency, helping to provide vital support while waiting for professional medical assistance.

A huge thank you to our EFT Electrical team for ensuring the equipment was installed and ready to serve the local community.

It's another example of how we aim to deliver social value alongside every project we undertake.
