Another neat lighting installation completed, transforming this staircase with 7 recessed LED stair spotlights for improved safety and a modern appearance.

To achieve this, we extended the existing ring main into a switched fused spur, providing a suitably protected supply for the lighting circuit. All cabling was chased into the walls and filled, leaving everything ready for decoration and ensuring a clean, professional finish with no surface wiring on show.

The finished result provides subtle low-level illumination across the full staircase, enhancing both the practicality and aesthetics of the space while maintaining a discreet look throughout.

⚡️ Garden Power Installation Completed ⚡️

A recent outdoor power project completed for a customer requiring reliable power supplies at opposite ends of the garden.

Power was taken from the existing ring final circuit via a switched fused spur, providing local isolation and protection for the new installation. From here, we supplied two weatherproof outdoor sockets, with the first socket fed through ducting that had been installed during previous landscaping works. The circuit was then extended approximately 40 metres to a second socket located at the far end of the garden.

Where suitable burial routes were available, cabling was installed underground for a discreet finish. In areas where this wasn’t possible, cables were securely clipped and supported to maintain both safety and appearance.

The final socket was positioned on the edge of a flower bed to provide a dedicated supply for a future robotic lawnmower installation. To ensure a robust and long-lasting mounting solution, a custom support frame was fabricated using 41mm x 41mm Unistrut, with the posts driven over 1 metre into the ground for maximum stability.

Another tidy, practical installation completed with durability and future use in mind. ✅

A recent project completed for a lovely customer, transforming their outdoor bar and entertainment area with a full power and lighting installation.

Power was extended from the existing ring final circuit, with all wiring surface-mounted in black conduit and secured using black metal spacer bar saddles for a neat, durable finish. Black metal-clad accessories were installed throughout to complement the overall aesthetic of the space.

The lighting was supplied via an unswitched fused spur, feeding a 2-gang switch arrangement to allow the LED perimeter strip lighting and centre light fitting to be controlled independently. We also installed a separate switch ready for future back garden lighting.

Additional power points were provided throughout the bar area, including:

⚡ 3 double sockets beneath the jukebox to supply the jukebox and under-counter fridges.

⚡ 2 double sockets adjacent to the bar for the karaoke setup, including one with integrated USB charging ports.

⚡ 1 single socket above the bar for illuminated signage.

⚡ 2 double sockets positioned either side of the TV location for maximum flexibility.

⚡ 1 ceiling-mounted double socket, allowing the customer to easily connect disco lighting and other entertainment equipment without trailing extension leads.

A great project to be involved with, delivering a practical installation while maintaining a clean finish that suits the bar perfectly.

Another clean commercial kitchen installation completed for a school we’ve carried out numerous projects for over the years. ⚡️

We installed a 32A 3 phase + neutral rotary isolator to provide local isolation for a new 16A Rational combi oven, allowing the appliance to be safely isolated for maintenance and servicing. The circuit was supplied in new 5 core 2.5mm NYY-J cable and protected at the distribution board with a Acti9 iC60H triple-pole C curve 16A MCB, correctly fused down to suit the appliance load.

All wiring has been securely supported above the suspended ceiling using metallic all-round banding to ensure compliance with premature collapse regulations and current BS7671 requirements.

Always appreciated returning to long-standing clients and continuing to deliver safe, tidy and compliant installations.

Power installed and ready for new laser welder ⚡️

For this installation we supplied and installed a new 63A commando socket fed directly in 6mm 3 core SWA, fused down at 40A and protected by a dedicated RCBO circuit for maximum safety and reliability. We also fitted a banjo at the distribution board end of the SWA to ensure the steel wire armouring was correctly earthed, along with supplying and fitting a 63A commando plug onto the machine flex ready for final connection and commissioning.

A clean and robust install designed to suit the demands of industrial equipment while keeping the containment and cable routing neat, compliant and built to last. 🔧

Recently completed at the Walton Centre — another quality commercial installation delivered and signed off.

As part of this room refurbishment, we installed 2 Oxford LED linear luminaires, providing efficient, modern lighting throughout the newly upgraded space.

We also fitted new dado trunking to house the socket outlets, alongside running, terminating, and testing a new dedicated circuit to provide a safe and reliable power supply. The trunking was intentionally installed longer than currently required, allowing for future additions or alterations without further disruption to the space.

To maintain the integrity of the room, all penetrations, fixing points, and cable entry holes were sealed using fire-rated sealant as part of the final installation.

Bringing this beautiful dining space to life with bespoke feature lighting ⚡

Our team completed the full installation from first fix through to final commissioning—chasing and wiring for 3 new wall lights ready for plastering, before returning to second fix, install, and power up for the finished result.

To enhance the focal point of the room, we also installed 2 discreet spotlights positioned to illuminate the chimney breast and showcase the centrepiece that will soon take pride of place.

A great project where careful planning, clean installation, and attention to detail have created a lighting scheme that complements the character of this stunning property.

Another exterior lighting upgrade completed ⚡

The existing installation consisted of just 2 fluorescent floodlights with poor cable management and limited coverage. We removed the old setup and installed 5 x 30W PIR LED floodlights to provide improved security, efficiency, and overall light distribution across the building.

As part of the upgrade, we ran new cabling throughout, with all cable routes securely clipped and installed neatly to ensure a safe, compliant, and professional finish.

A big improvement in both performance and appearance for this property.

Another successful upgrade completed for a local school kitchen ✔️

We replaced the outdated and inconsistent lighting with high-efficiency lay-in LED panels, dramatically improving light output and the overall working conditions for staff.

As part of the works, we also installed a full emergency lighting system, bringing the space up to current safety standards where previously there was none in place.

LED UPGRADE COMPLETE ⚡️

We recently carried out a full lighting upgrade in a local schools sports hall, replacing the existing fittings with high-efficiency Astrid Highbay-HD-80W units.
