The programme runs throughout the 6 week summer holiday period, with opportunities available on a labour- only, subcontract or day rate basis.

A trip trip to Padiham in Burnley yesterday for a biannual service visit of a new fire alarm installation we completed over the summer break and October Half Term last year.

Although a 6month old project, I never managed to get any finished photos — so it was great to be back on site and finally capture the completed installation.

Works included the installation of a new L2 Fire Detection and Alarm System based on 2x Advanced MxPro5 Control Panels, a fault tolerant network and Hochiki protocol.

This was not an easy installation by any means.
Due to the historic nature of the building, stone construction and high ceilings there were plenty of challenges and obstructions encountered along the way. Not to mention the extensive number of voids discovered requiring additional detection.

Lots of surface conduit containment installation to conceal the red fire alarm cabling throughout provided the client with a clean and professional finish to the installation.

As standard, our client was issued with comprehensive supporting documentation presented within the operations & maintenance manual, to provide compliance and assist with future servicing and maintenance of the system.

A trip trip to Wigan yesterday ready for the handover of new life safety systems to a primary school in Wigan.

Works included a new L2 Fire Detection and Alarm System along with a new emergency lighting system.

Given the intrusive nature of the electrical works, they have been undertaken during school holidays since last summer, when the school is vacant.

Fire Alarm System specification based on an Advanced MxPro5 Control Panel c/w Hochiki ESP protocol.

Emergency Lighting system specification based on Tamlite Lighting products.

Well done to all involved - a fantastic installation of both systems, along with comprehensive supporting documentation presented within the operations & maintenance manual, to provide compliance and assist with future servicing and maintenance of the systems.

Project completion of FRA works at a primary school over in Warrington this week.

Scope of works included:
- Installation and commission of a new L2 Fire Detection and Alarm System
- Strip out and installation of new suspended ceilings to four classrooms and a large IT & resource area including new LED lighting scheme and emergency lighting
- New fire shutter to kitchen servery
- New aluminium powder coated double doorset to external plant room and boiler house

Fire alarm system specification based on an Advanced MxPro5 Control Panel c/w Hochiki ESP protocol.

A great team effort by everyone involved on this one. Delighted to see this project completed to such a high standard, alot of hard work has gone into this, predominantly out of hours👏🏼
