Original kitchen walls removed and universal beam support completed.
There was a heavy concrete lintel above a former kitchen window that we had to remove. With the help of a lift genie this was safely taken down and disposed of.

The engineered joists were completed on the extension with a 1500 x 400 Saris skylight incorporated during construction.
The original kitchen roof and ceiling was then removed to allow for new engineered joists to be fitted. The second 1500 x 400 Saris skylight was not on the original plan and was decided upon after the joists were delivered which caused a slight delay. However it gives the kitchen area much more natural light and we feel was a great decision by the customer.

Extension to form open plan kitchen, sunroom, utility and shower room.
Bifold doors from sunroom onto the rear lawn.
Two Saris skylights incorporated during construction of the roof.
Ready for removal of internal walls next week.

Forming large open plan kitchen / diner. Roof and ceilings supported, non load bearing wall removed and load bearing wall removed and universal beam installed on engineering brick padstones.
