Couple of jobs for this lovely customer. First up a kinetic switch for the canopy lights - these are great if you don't want the hassle or cost of chasing walls to run new cables (basically a wireless light switch!) Also running power out to the garage and shed, complete with a new Consumer Unit in the house and the Garage (although I forgot to photograph those 😅🤦🏼‍♂️)

Funky LED light install on a new build today 🤩💡

If you are thinking about buying lights from a large online retailer that are made in China be aware that 1 of 2 things will happen - either the electrician you ask won't agree to fit them...OR...it'll be a lot more expensive than you expect.

They are very fiddly and time consuming to install, often the cables provided are too short, the connectors aren't very good and the mounting brackets are awful 😅 they are also annoying to test and can have problems with the LED drivers.

But if you find someone willing to do it(like me 😉) and you are happy to pay for it, they sure can add a touch of personality to your house 😁⚡

Garage refit finished ⚡ ...forgot the before pictures, but imagine bare brick walls and a concrete base, with a long fluorescent at one end 😅 now has extra sockets, dimmable JCC downlights and WiFi enabled App controlled smart rad 👍🏻
