Here are a few words from our Town Patrol Supervisor, Tallon, about what it means to work for SLS UK and the difference our town patrols are making in Spalding. 💛🖤
We're pleased to share Tallon's perspective:
"I enjoy being a part of SLS UK because every shift feels like an opportunity to make a positive difference. The team that i have around me is supportive, professional, and everyone shares the same goal of keeping people safe. I’m proud to be part of SLS UK as a company, and it’s clear that everyone genuinely cares about the communities we serve. All of the team are dedicated and this is very motivating, we are always encouraging each other to achieve the best and continuously develop, for the benefit of ourselves and the company.
The town patrols are especially rewarding because they’re about being a visible, approachable presence within the community. Whether it’s helping someone who needs assistance, deterring anti-social behaviour, or simply reassuring local businesses and residents, it’s good to know that what we do has a positive impact. In the short time that SLS UK has been doing these town patrols, we have received many comments on how what we are doing is already making a positive change in Spalding town. As a team we believed that we could do this which is why the initial negative backlash was not responded to, we let our work do the talking.
Being able to play a part in making Spalding a safer and more welcoming place is something I’m proud of, especially in the current world that we live in. Every shift gives us the opportunity to contribute to the local community and make everyone feel secure. Working alongside such a dedicated team makes the role even more fulfilling, this is not just the team doing these town patrols but also the management team. Collectively, our work shows that your security is our priority."
