New Stock Fence and Gateway Installation
This job involved clearing and preparing the perimeter of the area for the installation of a new stock fence. A robotic mower was used to cut back and clear vegetation around the perimeter, creating a clear route for the new fence line.
Creosoted round timber posts were then installed along the fence line using the digger and post knocker. The posts were positioned and installed securely to provide a strong and durable foundation for the fencing.
Where required, 6-inch creosoted strainer posts were installed to provide additional strength and support at corners, changes in direction and other key points along the fence line.
An opening was then cleared and prepared to allow for the installation of new gate posts and wooden 5-bar gates, creating a secure and accessible entrance to the area.
Once all posts and strainers were in place, 1.2m high stock wire was installed and securely fixed along the full length of the new fence line.
Following completion of the fencing works, the whole of the newly fenced area was cleared and tidied using a tractor and flail mower, cutting back overgrown vegetation leaving the area neat, accessible and ready for use.
The completed work provides a strong, secure and long-lasting fenced boundary, complete with a new 16ft gateway and improved access throughout the area.
