Grey squirrels are an invasive species in the UK and are one of the main reasons for the decline of the native red squirrel. Greys outcompete reds for food and habitat and also carry squirrelpox virus, which is usually harmless to grey squirrels but often fatal to reds. In areas where grey squirrel numbers are controlled, red squirrel populations have a much better chance of surviving and recovering. For this reason, conservation programmes across the UK include grey squirrel control as a key measure to help protect the native red squirrel.

We’re moving on to red squirrel conservation so the majority of our efforts will be going into getting rid of the greys and protect the reds. If you or know anyone that will give us permission to shoot please get in touch.

My first preserved rabbit skull 🐇💀
Just need to seal it but am happy with how it turned out. There’s still plenty for me to learn and I may do more in the future and give them to our customers if they wanted.
