😍 OAK AND BLACK METAL 😍

This was 1 of 5 jobs completed at the same property with this being the final job 🪚🔨

I stripped out the old newel posts and dated balustrades and installed new solid Oak newel posts, baserails and handrails and these stunning black metal spindles 😍

A bit of a tricky one this one, as the staircase stringer ran into the wall, not allowing enough room for the handrail to sail up to the top newel. Once everything was installed, I then coated the Oak with Transparent Raw Osmo, leaving the Oak with a more natural finish 🔥

🪚🔨🚪 EXTERNAL DOORS 🚪🔨🪚

Had the pleasure of replacing 2 doors at the same property here. Removed the old rotten doors and frames and installed 2 new hardwood doors and frames.

A 9L Glazed stable door at the rear of the property, for the additional kitchen space and a 1L Glazed solid door for the front porch 👌🏼

Both doors fitted with black ironmongery and 5 lever mortise sashlocks 🔐
Once installed i then stained the stable door and frames using Sadolin Extra - Burma Teak 😍
The porch door, I then painted the outside of the door Breakfast Room Green - Farrow & Ball and the inside of the door and the frame, in a White Satin wood 🙌🏼

Another successful job and more happy customers!

🪚🔨 STUDY REFURB 🔨🪚

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted but life has been pretty crazy lately. I recently got married abroad and have enjoyed some special downtime on holiday with my little family. Work itself has also been incredibly busy, the self employed life certainly isn’t for the faint hearted 😂🤪

Here’s a recent study refurb I carried out for some returning customers who I have done lots of work for now. They had a vision of how they wanted it to be and I brought those ideas and visions to life 👌🏼🔨🪚

I removed and replaced the terribly squeaky chipboard flooring, added insulation and laid new chipboard flooring to create a solid sub base for the rest! I then installed some stunning engineered Oak flooring finished with new skirtings throughout. Next was to fit the filing cabinets that my customers had supplied and to hang the wall cabinets, creating a massive amount of storage.

I then cut and fit some solid Oak worktops to create a large desk area, with cut outs for cable grommets. The Oak tops were then oiled and sealed using Osmo oil 😍

🔨🪚😍 PANELLING & CUPBOARD DOORS 😍🪚🔨

I had the pleasure of returning to carry out more work for some repeat customers recently. After I had made and installed some panelling in one of their other bedrooms a while back they wanted to replicate the same in another bedroom.

Framed it out, cut and fit the custom panelling and installed 2 x double sockets on each end 👌🏼 My customer then painted it and added her touches for the finished look 😍🔥

A simple yet very effective way of creating a feature and some depth to any bedroom 🙌🏼

They then wanted me to make a fit 2 x shaker style doors for their storage cupboard and add a shelf above the hanging rail 👌🏼

Will be returning to this one again soon to install wardrobes and panel the 3rd bedroom 🔨🪚

🤩😍 STAIRCASE RENO 😍🤩

Another staircase renovation completed here. One of a numerous jobs now completed at the same property 👌🏼

The old newel posts and wobbly balustrades stripped out! New Oak newel posts, baserails and handrails installed, finished with black metal spindles and shadow gap newel caps 🔥😍

Oak still to be oiled by customers, stringers to be painted white and carpet runner fitted in the near future with new flooring downstairs 🙌🏼

🔨🪚 OAK STAIRCASE, FLOORING & UNDER STAIRS DOORS 🪚🔨

After having replaced all my customers doors a while back, they asked me back to install a totally new Oak staircase, new engineered Oak flooring on the landing and to make and fit some custom under stairs doors 🙌🏼

The old staircase was ripped out and then this stunning Oak staircase installed 😍 all finished with a Matt Osmo to really enhance the stunning grain 🔥

I then removed the flooring, skirting and architraves on the landing and fitted some engineered Oak flooring that compliments the staircase beautifully 👌🏼 New skirting and architraves fitted, then the flooring was also finished with a Matt Osmo to tie in perfectly with the staircase 🙌🏼

Last I made some custom push to open MRMDF grooved doors to match closely to their internal doors throughout the house, these are yet to be painted.

🔨🪚😍 OAK PORCH 😍🪚🔨

It’s been a while but here’s one of many projects now completed at this property for a lovely family 👌🏼🏡

I made and fitted this stunning Oak porch using traditional jointing methods using Air Dried Oak and what a statement piece it is, exactly what my customers envisioned!

I absolutely loved doing this project, it was certainly a head scratcher at times 😅 but I got there in the end and what a show stopper it is 🔥

Huge thankyou for building the brick piers, to for the slate work and to for getting the light fitted and up and running, always a pleasure having these lads in to do their bit 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
