🎉 Happy Retirement, Steve! 🎉

Today we say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Steve Reece, who is retiring after an incredible 14 years with Ridgewood Contracts 👷‍♂️🚜

Steve joined us on 4th July 2011 and has been a valued member of the team ever since — a skilled and dependable digger driver who’s left his mark on countless projects 💪

As he hangs up his hard hat, Steve’s looking forward to more time at his caravan in Wales 🏕️, relaxing with his wife, kids and grandchildren 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and casting a line as a keen fisherman 🎣

Today we had the pleasure of taking one of our diggers to Haberdashers' Castle House School Nursery, for the children to explore in line with their construction topic. The children enjoyed sitting in the driving seat, pressing the peddles, and the horn button. The children used their maths skills when looking at the wheels using big/little comparisons.
