I'm Tom from T2 Property Maintenance

I fix bad paint jobs for a living. I'm not here to judge. Okay, maybe a little.

What I will do:

🎨 Make your living room look like you actually have taste
🎨 Paint your hallway without crying on the stairs (you know the pain)
🎨 Do your ceilings WITHOUT getting paint in your hair — that's my job
🎨 Cover that colour you picked in 2019 when you were "feeling bold"
🎨 Finish in 1-2 days and not leave your house looking like a crime scene

I do:
Living Rooms / Bedrooms / Kitchens / Hallways, Stairs & Landings (my speciality, because everyone hates them) / Feature Walls / Woodwork / Ceilings

I DON'T do:
- Turning up 3 hours late
- Leaving dust sheets as a souvenir
- Playing Radio 1 all day at full blast

😡 HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PAINTER & DECORATOR IN THEIR HOUSE?! 😡

Honestly, I’m absolutely fuming. 😤

With Christmas coming up, the wife decided the house needed “a little freshen up” before everyone starts visiting.

Apparently, the odd scuff mark, yellow skirting boards and a crack above the door aren’t part of the Christmas decorations. 🙄🎄

So we booked a local painter and decorator.

Seemed a decent bloke. Turned up on time, brought all his tools, covered everything up and got straight to work.

BIGGEST MISTAKE I’VE MADE THIS YEAR. 😡

Came home and genuinely thought I’d walked into someone else’s house.

The walls? PERFECT.

The ceilings? ACTUALLY WHITE.

The skirting boards? Turns out they’re not supposed to be the same colour as a 20-year-old smoking shelter. 😭

And that crack above the door I’ve been telling the wife is “just the house settling” for the last five years?

GONE. 😡

BUT HERE’S THE WORST PART…

The wife absolutely LOVES it.

She’s now walking around the house pointing at things.

“That room could do with doing.”

“We might as well get the hallway done.”

“The kitchen would look lovely in a different colour.”

MIGHT AS WELL?! 😭

I ONLY WANTED THE LIVING ROOM PAINTED.

Now she’s bought new cushions, curtains, a rug and apparently the sofa doesn’t match anymore.

THE SOFA WAS FINE LAST WEEK. 😡😂

And to top it all off, the mother-in-law’s coming for Christmas and has already said how lovely the house looks.

So now we’re hosting Christmas dinner as well. 💀🎄

All because I booked a bloody decorator.

Anyway…

Morning from team T2
The gothic windows are nearly there .
We’ve now also stripped back the original pull up shutters .
We really enjoy these transformations and looking forward to posting the finish product on our return . This week we are finishing off decorating a living room , stairwell and landing for some lovely customers in gnosall . Looking forward to updating that work later on in the week on our page .

Another Job completed by team T2 . We were asked to build a base for this children’s cottage so we made a suggestion of doing a slab base so as and when the children have out grown there cottage when they take it down they have a very useable patio space . Another job complete . Another satisfied customer ❤️
