We are currently looking for tree felling and cutting sites on estates and farmland.

We’re particularly interested in:

✔️ Storm damaged trees
✔️ Windblown trees
✔️ General felling sites
✔️ Woodland management areas
✔️ Standing timber suitable for chainsaw training

We deliver a range of professional chainsaw and arboriculture training courses, including training delivered for National Grid Electricity Distribution contractors.

What We Offer Landowners:

✅ All work carried out completely FREE of charge
✅ No cost to the estate or landowner
✅ Fully supervised by qualified instructors
✅ Safe, professional and controlled environment
✅ £5 Million Public Liability Insurance

This is a mutually beneficial long-term agreement, helping estates and farmers manage woodland and storm damage while supporting professional industry training.

👏 Fantastic couple of days at our Devon training site! 👏

Huge congratulations to the lads from NGED for completing their windblown tree course, delivered at our site right in the heart of Devon. A great group to work with and some top-class effort shown throughout — thank you all. 🌳💪

We’re also incredibly proud (and grateful!) to have received TEN 5-star Google reviews in just one week ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — the feedback has been amazing and really means a lot to the whole team.

Now it’s time to head north of the border as we get ready to deliver aerial rescue and chainsaw from a harness refresher training. On to the next one! 🚐🏴

Another 5-star review from last week’s Aerial Tree Rigging course!
We’re thrilled to see participants gaining confidence and skills with every climb. Thanks to everyone who joined us—your feedback keeps us climbing higher!

That’s a wrap on another busy and rewarding week here at Commercial Arb Training Limited!

We kicked things off with a couple of days in the stunning village of Castleton in the Hope Valley ⛰️, guiding Eve, Jordan, Andy, and Jacob through their Aerial Tree Rigging 🌳🧗‍♂️—great effort all around!

While in Hope, I couldn’t resist dropping into my favourite bike shop, 18 Bikes 🚲. Always impressed by what they do—top-notch craftsmanship, all handmade in Sheffield 🔧❤️

We then rounded off the week with Ben, Alastair, and Tom tackling the Medium Tree Felling course 🌲🪓.
A huge thanks to Sandiway Golf Club for letting us use their beautiful grounds ⛳👏

Great result of the weekend all four candidates managed to pass their Ground based chainsaw assessments

We kicked off a two-day Chainsaw Maintenance & Cross Cut course today — followed by a three-day Felling & Processing Trees (up to 380mm).

Massive thanks to Oregon for the complimentary training aids — they’ll be put to great use over the week.

We delivered specialist training to National Grid linesmen at our new Mid Devon training site, and ran ground-based chainsaw assessments for our Network Rail clients.

4 staff refreshed with LANTRA certs for ground based chainsaw
8 staff refreshed with LANTRA certs for power pole pruner

National Grid
4 linesmen trained to safely operate a chainsaw to fell utility poles and cut from MEWP.

Derby city Council trained and assessed NPTC City & Guilds to use a stump grinder.
