A recent job we completed after fixing another contractor’s poor workmanship.

We carried out a full flat roof replacement using a high-quality double-layer torch-on felt system, including lining all gutters. The pitched canopy was carefully realigned, with an additional row added to ensure a proper fit.

We also installed a dry ridge system and completed leadwork throughout.

The result is a fully watertight finish—completed to the standard it should have been from the start.

It’s not always about the big jobs — the smaller ones are just as important.

This roof had been worked on a couple of years ago, but unfortunately the previous repair was carried out by simply laying new felt over the existing felt, which is not the correct method and only leads to problems later on.

We stripped the roof back to the bare wood decking and installed a new torch-on felt system to ensure a proper, long-lasting finish.

Another job completed last week – a triple-layer torch-on felt roofing system, new support beam and cross beams installed, a new box section ready for fascia and guttering, and finished with new lead flashing. 🔨🏠

Another fantastic job completed this week. The works included the installation of new structural support beams and a full re-boarding of the flat roof, followed by the application of a polyurethane waterproofing system with an integrated non-slip finish to allow safe pedestrian access. Existing perimeter railings were reinstalled.

How the 3-Layer System Is Installed

Roof Preparation
We start by removing any old materials and repairing damaged decking. The surface is cleaned and primed to ensure perfect adhesion.
Base Layer – Venting Sheet
This bottom layer allows any moisture to escape from below, reducing the risk of trapped condensation and blistering.
Underlay – Reinforced Felt
A middle layer of tough, reinforced felt adds durability and acts as an extra waterproof barrier.
Cap Sheet – Mineral Finish
The final top layer has a UV-resistant mineral surface, providing protection from sun, rain, and daily wear and tear.
Edge Sealing & Trims
All seams, edges, and corners are sealed and detailed for a professional, watertight finish. Trims and drip edges ensure water flows away cleanly.

Another roof transformation completed last week — this one for a lovely family in Stone 🙌

Their old roof had really done its time, with a few leaks and plenty of wear showing, so we stripped it right back and fitted a brand new slate-grey finish that’ll last for many years to come.
