This includes creating and maintaining fine turf, ornamental beds, borders and other planted areas, containers and hanging baskets. He is also qualified in pest and disease treatments and is licensed in, and qualified to teach, the application of pesticides. Lee is committed to the ethical control of weeds, pests and diseases and encourages physical and cultural methods before chemicals are consid

ered. His extensive practical experience and in depth knowledge led Lee to diversify into coaching, teaching and lecturing at college and university campuses around the North of England. The current skills gap in the horticulture industry prompted the creation of Elite Garden Maintenance which, Lee feels, can provide the quality and confidence that commercial and residential clients alike should expect and demand.
